George Alfie
![]() George Alfie, Guildford born, is a singer/songwriter in the indie genre. After leaving school at 9 years old, George has used writing and performing as his way of connecting with people. Gaining popularity through his ardent lyricism and attention to detail, George has been able to play all over the UK, with multiple sold-out shows, and a growing fanbase who continue to be mesmerised by his story telling and the way he holds every stage he stands on. Starting out with busking, and pub venues, Alfie has gone on to open and play festivals in Hampshire, and Lancashire, as well as hosting many gigs around England, always giving new bands and artists opportunities to play. George describes himself as a mix between Sam Fender and Ben Howard, which you can hear particularly in his latest singles ‘Aphrodite’ (19,387 Spotify streams), ‘Tell a Lie’ (18,406 Spotify streams) and 'Night Creatures' (19,758 Spotify Streams).
Giving his unique take on life & relationships through his music, George delivers warming acoustic sets overflowing with heart and charm, as well as working with his bandmates to bring his originals to life with intricate guitar licks, and iconic drum fills. George's sets are also filled with some epic covers, that he and his band expertly rearrange, bringing a new spin to the music - 'Careless Whisper' being a fan favourite. George wants to "create space for people to be seen, to make sure no one feels like a ghost in a room full of people". For George, this transcends beyond his gigs - through him and into his following, he shows that these feelings can be universal. "No one deserves to feel invisible"
Amity
![]() Amity’s dark, defiant and dramatic sound was described in The Guardian newspaper as “miraculous” with “dense surreal lyricism”, comparing Amity to Adele and Regina Spektor. His calling card of “profound, broody and rebellious” tracks (Durham Magazine) and “stunning” voice (BBC Radio Newcastle) have scooped numerous national and international competition successes, placing Amity in the UK’s top 30 young songwriters in their category this year according to the SAYS panel of industry judges.
Amity’s raw, powerhouse voice and vivid, moving lyrics have led to them being invited to be a regular performer at Sessions58 Rise, where they are the youngest-ever artist - hailed by the Q club as “a true prodigy on our stage”. Talent scouted by numerous major TV shows on both sides of the Atlantic, Amity increasingly appears at important venues across London and is all set for a performance at the Royal Albert hall in the finals of the Future Makers this autumn. Amity’s empowering lyrics are imprinted by his drive for justice, inner healing, freedom and a passion for enriching lives, along the way documenting his own ongoing journey from darkness to light. Amity has already been interviewed by BBC Radio, Lyme Bay Radio and in specialist podcasts, to talk about the laser focus of his work – to shine a light on issues he believes remain hidden far too often, from mental health, bullying and abuse, to kindness, self destruction and transgender issues. Amity is currently writing with Dee Adam (Dido, Kaiser Chiefs, Newton Faulkner) and Andrew Kingslow (John Legend). “The talent Amity exudes is immense. You’ll all know his name in a couple of years”.
