Jesse Sheehan
Jesse Sheehan
Jesse Sheehan is a NZ musician and songwriter based in London, UK.

He has spent the last 5 years honing his craft, performing around the globe in backing bands for the likes of Neil Finn (Crowded House) and Dave Dobbyn, as well as performing regularly across New Zealand with his own music including support slots for The Alabama Shakes and Jake Bugg.

Reviewer and blogger Simon Sweetman described seeing him play as "awe inspiring."

His two EP's 'A Crack in Everything' and 'How The Light Gets In' were well recieved and gained him two finalist nominations for the Apra Silver Scroll Awards.

His Debut Album - Drinking With The Birds - was released on August 12th this year. Nick Bollinger from Radio desribes it as

"big, technicolour chamber-pop, with brightly coloured backings and melodies that seem to roam wherever they feel like, and Sheehan has the vocal chops to follow them.

It was produced by Neil Finn in Roundhead Studios and mastered by Bob Ludwig in New York.

Jesse is currently touring the English festival scene trying out songs for his new EP to be released later this year.
