House Above The Sun
House Above The Sun
Hailing from London, beatnik Americana exploring elements of blues, folk, alt-rock and country. Their debut album 'Five Hours North' was released in October 2017 and is available now on iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp.

House Above The Sun are led by vocal/guitar duo Jim & Ariel Moreton and since 2015 they have been developing their distinctive blend of rich male/female vocal harmonies, inventive guitar motifs and dynamic grooves. Their growing repertoire of original songs offers a seamless blend of mellow country-soul with fiery, blues-fuelled rockers. In both gears the poetry and melodic flare of Jim Moreton's songs shine through.

'This is a band that can both kick like a mule sonically yet charm your socks off with beautifully entwined dual vocals and a real poetic approach to songwriting'-Americana UK

'The 2015 EP was good, but given extra room to stretch out, this album is great'-Real Gone

'House Above The Sun deal in beautifully constructed tightly wound guitar based epics that unfurl like late the best of late seventies Television and Patti Smith, with a folk and Americana twist' - New Roots Promotions
