‘Big Dog’ are an up and coming underground band gaining momentum on the UK’s south coast music scene due to their unique live energy and eclectic sound.

While they haven’t been going for long and have yet to record material (Album coming 2018), they are already being invited to cities across Europe to perform their live act.

Lethbridge Owen
Lethbridge Owen
Kelly Lethbridge and Jimmy Owen are no new comers to the music scene, however their new material is starting to take flight and they have recently released their fourth single with Cargo Records Distribution in preparation for the release of their album – Mind Over Matter; all of their music is available on all major music platforms.

Singing, and writing meaningful music, they blend their Neo Folk tinged sound with Rock/Blues in a way that connects with and engages the audience.

Their live sound is somewhat reminiscent of the classic Rock Pop era of the 60s and 70s.

Lethbridge Owen have strong Pop elements; the songs are catchy, carefully crafted and memorable.

With the use of vintage gear for great guitar tone such as the 1970s echo-plex and 1960s Marshall plexi sounds, this band create a big feel and ethereal quality.

Lethbridge Owen signed for a worldwide distribution deal with Cargo records in November 2016 and have been gigging in and around the country as well as a venture to Austin Texas and have already had a great response from their audiences and fellow musicians along with interest from Nashville radio stations.

The new material provides the audience with a refreshing sense of variety, emotion and great musicianship.

The music is an eclectic mix of Folk, Country/Rock/Pop with some Prog and Blues elements. Drawing on inspirations from bands such as Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel, Rush, Bonnie Raitt, Trucks and Tedeschi, Jimi Hendrix, and many more, this is new Music that must be heard.

Here is what the people are saying.

"Kelly Louise's always immaculate vocals, subtle and mature songwriting combined with stellar performances all round make this band a must see - looking forward to catching the band live again"

"Fantastic tone and incredible guitar playing by Jimmy Owen,

— John Dryland (Cargo Records)

Bruce Dickinson (Little Angels/ Colour Of Noise) says - "Jimmy is a natural musician and a real player. His technical proficiency is extremely high, He has excellent timing and behind the technique lies real musicality and solid phrasing."
