Gabriel Byrd Trio
Gabriel Byrd Trio
Guitarist Singer-Songwriter influenced by 60’s & 70’s guitar-driven rock, folk and progressive music

What happens when you mix Dylanesque modern lyricism, Texan electric guitar chops, that monumental Zeppelian drive, & deep songwriting on the likes of George Harrison & Nick Drake? Spice everything up with mystical symbolism and the intensity of Delta bluesmen and we are just about…

Brazilian globe-trotter award-winning & graduated multi-instrumentalist, Gabe has been actively involved in the music industry for over a decade, both as a session musician and a member of numerous projects.

After releasing his first solo EP ‘Along the Way’ mixed at Abbey Road Studios by the legendary Engineer Chris Bolster (Paul McCartney, Elton John, Greg Allman, Cat Stevens-Yusuf, John Forgety, Kate Bush) & followed by a well-received Single ‘Hard To Believe’ (+10K on Spotify) Gabriel has been breaking through the London music scene and being noticed as an ‘emergent supernova’, taking audiences by storm with his charisma, multitude of styles and showmanship.

Crushing borders between solid rock, psychedelic soundscapes, melodic ballads, and what he calls ‘progressive-folk’, Byrd's solo work presents a fresh and unique vision that has been thrilling audiences and making them wonder ‘Who’s this guy?’

Currently performing in UK/Europe with a new Single/EP in the making:

Kooky
Kooky

KOOKY are a London based multi European retro sounding pop group.
Ana is from Portugal, Céline from France, Hanna from Sweden and Paul from the U.K.

KOOKY favour many of the artists and songs from what is often considered the golden era of pop; the 1960s and 1970s and their sound and influence is clearly drawn from here. So expect 3 minute songs which are high on melodic and harmonic content (especially on vocals), with interesting lyrics and thoughtful arrangements.

In addition to this the band do not want to become too formulaic so amongst the 30 or so original songs already in their repotoire you will find ballads, folk, guitar pop, rock, country, Euro disco and even a little jazz.

KOOKY are already beginning to attract a following and attention to their fun look and catchy sound from playing live regularly in the London area. The band are currently saving towards funding their first recordings in a professional studio. All music currently available was recorded as home demos.
